As the Christmas season and winter start to creep around one of the first things that I start longing to do is go ice skating. Sadly I haven't gone several winters in a row but this year I'm bound and determined to go as often as possible.
I love everything about ice skating, including the fashion. Snuggly scarves and sweaters, and twirly skirts. I thought it would be fun to share some vintage ice skating images.

And many of you guys probably already know, but Jessica of Chronically Vintage is having a lovely giveaway over at her blog that you should be sure to enter :)
Happy Thursday!

We always have scores in common! I've been itching to strap on a pair of skates and glide across the ice for the past few weeks, too. Truth be told, I haven't gone skating in a few years, but I used to practically be "one with the ice" as a youngster, so hopefully it wouldn't take me long to find my "ice legs" (so to speak) again.
ReplyDeleteThank you deeply for blogging about Chronically Vintage's giveaway. That was was so sweet of you to do. Best of luck with the contest, Lizzy dear!
Huge hugs,
♥ Jessica
