What a lovely roundup of summery images and items, honey! The ice cream scoop instantly reminded me of a vintage one we'd somehow acquired when I was little (neighbour, yard sale - not really sure).
ReplyDeleteIt was all metal but looked very similar to the one above. Though a little stiff on the release, it worked wonderfully and didn't bend or threaten to snap at all, no matter how rock hard the ice cream you sunk it into was.
I'm sorry to hear you've been feeling a bit down lately. I sincerely hope that coming week will provide you with lots of happiness and a great many reasons to smile.
